Cooking Timer 40 min
Portions 2
Ingredients
  • 250 g ground beef
  • 1/2 small onion, finely chopped
  • 1 garlic clove, minced
  • 2 tbsp breadcrumbs
  • 2 tbsp milk
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 1/4 tsp black pepper
  • 1/4 tsp ground allspice
  • 1/2 tbsp butter
  • 3 medium potatoes, peeled and diced
  • 2 tbsp butter
  • 50 ml milk
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 1 tbsp butter
  • 1 tbsp flour
  • 200 ml beef broth
  • 50 ml heavy cream
How To Do
  • 1.
Boil the potatoes in salted water until soft (about 15 minutes).
  • 2.
Drain and mash them with butter and milk until smooth.
  • 3.
Season with salt and pepper. Cover and keep warm.
  • 4.
In a bowl, mix breadcrumbs with milk and let them soak for 5 minutes.
  • 5.
Add ground meat, chopped onion, garlic, salt, pepper, and allspice. Mix well.
  • 6.
Shape into small meatballs (about 12 pieces).
  • 7.
Heat butter in a pan over medium heat and fry the meatballs until browned and cooked through (about 10 minutes). Remove and set aside.
  • 8.
In the same pan, melt butter and whisk in the flour. Cook for 1-2 minutes.
  • 9.
Gradually add beef broth while whisking to avoid lumps.
  • 10.
Stir in heavy cream and soy sauce. Simmer until thickened.
