Ingredients
How To Do
-
1.Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and lightly grease a small ovenproof dish.
-
2.In a bowl, mix the diced apples with lemon juice, granulated sugar, cinnamon, nutmeg, and vanilla extract until the apples are evenly coated. Place the apple mixture into the greased dish.
-
3.In a separate bowl, combine flour, oats, brown sugar, cinnamon, and salt. Add the cold butter cubes and use your fingers or a fork to mix until it forms a crumbly texture. Spread the crumble topping evenly over the apples.
-
4.Bake the crumble for 35-40 minutes, or until the topping is golden brown and crispy, and the apples are soft and bubbly.
-
5.While the crumble bakes, whisk the heavy cream, vanilla extract, and powdered sugar in a bowl until soft peaks form. Keep it chilled until serving.
-
6.Once the crumble is done, let it cool for 5-10 minutes. Add a generous dollop of the freshly whipped vanilla cream on top of the warm crumble, and dust with extra cinnamon if desired. Enjoy!
