Classic Cheeseburger

A simple and juicy cheeseburger recipe perfect for a quick meal or backyard BBQ.

Ingredients
  • 500 g ground beef (80% lean, 20% fat)
  • 4 slices of cheddar cheese
  • 4 hamburger buns
  • Salt and pepper, to taste
  • 1 tbsp olive oil (for grilling or frying)
  • 1 Lettuce leaf
  • 1 Tomato slice
  • 2 Onion rings
  • Ketchup and mustard (optional)
How To Do
  • 1.
    Prepare the patties: Divide the ground beef into 4 equal portions and shape them into round patties. Season both sides with salt and pepper.

    Cook the patties: Heat a pan or grill with olive oil over medium heat. Cook each patty for 3-4 minutes on each side for medium doneness, or adjust the time for your preferred level of doneness.

    Add cheese: In the last minute of cooking, place a slice of cheddar on top of each patty and allow it to melt.
  • 4.
    Assemble the burgers: Toast the hamburger buns lightly, then layer each bun with lettuce, tomato slices, and onion rings. Place the patty with melted cheese on top.

    Serve: Add your choice of condiments like ketchup or mustard. Serve immediately with fries or a salad.
